This is a wonderful way for our organizations to collaborate and engage Canadians in Israel's contributions to the world. 

On Wednesday July 7th, 2021, CABGU will host an event called, An ‘Unorthodox’ National Virtual Gala for Brain Research. Funds will support research related to neurodegenerative diseases including Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, ALS, Dementia, Epilepsy and Stroke at the Zlotowski Centre for Neuroscience at Ben-Gurion University. 

Our guest of honour will be Emmy and Golden Globe nominated Israeli actress, Shira Haas. Shira is recognized for her outstanding work in her lead roles in “Shtisel” and “Unorthodox”, which have become huge hits on Netflix.
